Guest Hosting
Pittsburghers interested in hosting guests, please volunteer to provide housing for our traveling dancers. You can offer housing when registering for the weekend or by submitting an online hosting request.
Volunteering at the Event
Help the PittStop weekend run smoothly while making some cash! We would really appreciate your help! Sign up for volunteer slots before, during and after the dances.
Prices for Weekend Passes and Single Dances
See prices for the full weekend and single dance admission. Please note that anyone wishing to be placed on our housing list must register and pay for the full weekend.
3-DANCE PASSES are BACK!
If you can only can attend three dances but are still looking for a great deal, we have a 3-dance pass back by popular demand. At the price of $45, if you go to the Friday and Saturday night dances plus one other band dance, you'll save $15. Order online for will-call or buy at the door.
- Each pass can be used for any three separate dances across the weekend.
- Check in at the registration desk for each dance you attend.
- The pass you buy is non-transferable and must be used by you at all three dances.
- You can buy two passes however, and use the second pass to bring any friend with you to each dance.
Student Group Rates
Organize a PittStop field trip! Get 7 or more dancers from the same school registered, and take advantage of special rates. See student group rates for full details.

Food Drive
WIN A FREE PITTSTOP PASS! In the spirit of Thanksgiving we are hosting a food drive for dollar donations online or canned goods brought in. Show compassion with a donation to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Every dollar donated online or canned item brought to Friday or Saturday PittStop dances will get you an entry into a drawing for a FREE PASS to NEXT YEAR'S PittStop. The more dollars or cans you give, the more entries you'll get. See Food Drive for more details.
About PittStop
PittStop is a dance weekend that specializes in one of the original styles of swing dance from the 1920’s and early 1930's called Lindy Hop. We strive to put on a great weekend and our priority is to have excellent live music with our favorite swing bands that are making music today. PittStop has been held annually since 2001 and every year hundreds of people travel from many states and several countries to join the hundreds more local dancers to enjoy this event. Special Notes
Dan Repsch will be one of PittStop's DJ's, and he is also well known as a dance instructor in Lindy Hop, Blues, Charleston and Balboa. Dan will be in town starting Thursday, November 15, 2018 and will be available for private lessons.
